Bezel Setting For Faceted Stones 6 hours Workshop cost: $190, some materials included. To see full supply list, please visit the "Class Supplies" tab at the top of the page. In this intermediate/advanced-level workshop, students will learn how to set an oval and pear faceted stones in a heavy bezel. Skills taught include cutting a seat for the stone, bur control, hammer setting and finishing the setting. This class focuses on setting the stone. We will not be fabricating the rings. The picture above is a sample of the type of setting that will be taught in this class. You will receive a manual with all the techniques and step by step instructions to go along with the class. 3 hours of studio time are provided with this workshop. Studio time must be used within 90 days of the last class. Make sure you purchase your supplies prior to the start of class. See link above to the materials list. PREREQUISITES: Beginning jewelry or equivalent experience. Must be proficient at soldering.
