STONE SETTING

Stone Setting 1   8 week, intermediate level class     $225 +materials

8 students max. per class

Prerequisite: Must have taken beginning jewelry or have equivalent experience. Intermediate jewelry is recommended, but not required

Geared toward the independent designer, the goal of the Stone Setting 1 course is to provide students with a foundation for adding higher quality setting details to their designs and skill set. This class will focus solely on stone setting with no fabrication being taught. Special attention will be paid to proper bur techniques and modification of stone setting tools.

*flush setting
*gypsy setting
*bezel setting

*channel setting

*prong setting

10 hours of studio time is included in your class registration.  Studio time must be used within 90 days of the last class.
