Service Description

Beginning Jewelry Weekend Intensive This class is in person for 1 weekend, 8 hours per day. If you do not live in Phoenix or cannot participate in person, you can visit our online classes. Class cost: $375, materials separate. Materials cost approximately $150-$200. To see full supply list, please visit the "Class Supplies" tab at the top of the page. Once you register for the class, a copy of the supply list will be sent to the email you register with. Please check your spam or junk folders if you do not see it in your inbox. ​ This beginning level jewelry class will provide a solid foundation of metal, tools, techniques, and safety. Each student will explore, experiment and develop basic jewelry making skills. We will make approximately 3 pieces of jewelry over the 2-day class using the techniques taught in the class. Design ideas will be provided or you can use your own designs. We will make a spinner ring as the final project. The pictures above are a sample of jewelry made using techniques taught in this class. The following techniques will be covered: *sawing *polishing *stamping *ring sizing and making *piercing *sanding *patina *flex shaft uses *texturing *filing *soldering *rolling mill techniques *cabochon setting You will receive a manual with all the techniques and step by step instructions to go along with the class. This class comes with studio time, you may choose from the following: * 10 hours of studio time which must be used within 90 days of the last class. * 1 month of unlimited studio time which must be used within 1 month of the last class. ​ Make sure you purchase your supplies prior to the start of class.
