Service Description

Intermediate Jewelry This class is in person for 6 weeks, 3 hours per week. If you do not live in Phoenix or cannot participate in person, you can visit our online classes. ​ Class cost: $275, materials separate. Materials cost approximately $150-$200. To see full supply list, please visit the "Class Supplies" tab at the top of the page. Once you register for the class, a copy of the supply list will be sent to the email you register with. Please check your spam or junk folders if you do not see it in your inbox. In this class we will refine and build on the skills learned in the beginning class. We will make approximately 4 pieces of jewelry. Each lesson will guide you through the fabrication and design process of a specific technique. Design ideas will be provided or you can use your own designs. The pictures above are a sample of jewelry made using techniques taught in this class. ​ The following techniques will be covered: *forging *wire riveting *tube setting faceted stones *clasps *attaching jump rings to chains *advanced cabochon setting *multi stone ring *adding design elements to cabochon rings *split shank ring band *fancy bezels *multi-stone ring *chain-making You will receive a manual with all the techniques and step by step instructions to go along with the class. 10 hours of studio time are provided with this class. Studio time must be used within 90 days of the last class. Make sure you purchase your supplies prior to the start of class. (If it has been a while since your beginning class, you may want to consider taking the beginning class as a refresher.)
