Service Description

Intermediate Jewelry Weekend Intensive This class is in person for 1 weekend, 8 hours per day. If you do not live in Phoenix or cannot participate in person, you can visit our online classes. Class cost: $375, materials separate. Materials cost approximately $150-$200. To see full supply list, please visit the "Class Supplies" tab at the top of the page. Once you register for the class, a copy of the supply list will be sent to the email you register with. Please check your spam or junk folders if you do not see it in your inbox. In this class we will refine and build on the skills learned in the beginning class. We will make approximately 3-4 pieces of jewelry. Each lesson will guide you through the fabrication and design process of a specific technique. Design ideas will be provided or you can use your own designs. The pictures above are a sample of jewelry made using techniques taught in this class. ​ The following techniques will be covered: *forging *advanced cabochon setting *tube setting faceted stones *clasps *attaching jump rings to chains *fancy bezels *chain-making *adding design elements to cabochon rings *split shank ring band ​ This class comes with studio time, you may choose from the following: * 10 hours of studio time which must be used within 90 days of the last class. * 1 month of unlimited studio time which must be used within 1 month of the last class. Make sure you purchase your supplies prior to the start of class. See link above to the materials list. ​ PREREQUISITES: Beginning Jewelry or equivalent experience. (If it has been a while since your beginning class, you may want to consider taking the beginning class as a refresher.)
